Ara’o’cibanikú Maisi Guaní
Noble, honorable in all affairs. Fair in dealings, prudent in judgements. Sober in all interactions with family, friends, political dealings, tribal affairs. Ceremoniously in tune with traditional matters and connectedness to the cosmos. Understands innately one’s symbiotic relationship with the land walked upon. Judicious in beliefs of fairness and understands natural law and the laws of the universe which we are a part of.
Ara’o’cibanikú Maisi Guaní follows natural law, and thus only honors and accepts traditional Guaní (Taíno) leadership roles. We do not believe in elections or the voting process, but the process that honors every Guaní person in the yukayeke, their voice, and consensus decision making.
Ara’o’cibanikú Maisi Guaní is a matrilineal based yukayeke. We follow a matrilineal way of life and all its implications in the way in which we make decisions, work, and honor each other, and all of life.
“Take care of it and in turn, it will take care of you.” [nature]
Respect & Integrity.
Respect and Integrity are essential to adhere to any code of conduct within the yukayeke. What we do, how we live, and the reason why is first, and foremost for the benefit of Creation, the next seven generations, and it is ourselves that is last.
Respect.
We respect the values, ideas, beliefs of each individual without infringing on anybody else’s sovereignty.
Integrity.
Holding ourselves accountable for what we know, and being humble in what we do not know.
We utilize the in-statement of natural law to increase balance and connectivity to our original human nature through the implementation of ancestral sciences as a foundational block in increasing the capacity of our sovereign community economy.
Our ceremonial and cultural practices, for us, is an everyday way of life.
Sovereign.
Through our Sovereign, Sustainable Traditional Indigenous Community Economy, we are assisting community members in their personal assertion of sovereignty. We are sharing ancestral teachings and experiences so that they may teach others in the generations down the line about healthful living, with cultivating food from seed being at the center of it all. Because of our traditional protocols, we have a zero tolerance policy on our premises for substance usage including alcohol and marijuana, as well as zero tolerance for violence and abuse, verbally, physically or emotionally. We take pride in offering a safe place for all women and children.
Support our Yukayeke
Through these projects, we are able to assist in helping community members build livelihoods, while motivating them to maintain a close connection with the Earth, which brings our traditional cultural roles into a deeper meaning and purpose. Each of these projects, or small businesses bring a portion of their profit to AMG for the maintenance of land, structures, and other essential aspects to keep the community wheels going, as well as assisting the larger community in the region through our services.
As a Sovereign, Sustainable Traditional Indigenous Community Economy, we have brought forth our ancestral traditional economy–our means of sovereignty–to the present through these indigenous led projects which are supported by and support our community:
